This series will focus on acute and chronic conditions and diseases related to dogs, cats, horses, and food animals and will target the respiratory, musculoskeletal, and gastrointestinal system.
Bio: Cynthia Lankenau, DVM graduated from Cornell Veterinary College in 1981. After working in a mostly dairy practice in upstate NY and becoming frustrated with the limitations of conventional medicine, she joined the Peace Corps, working in Malawi, Africa in 1984-5. Learning to see the world differently, she rapidly used this frustration as the incentive to start down the path of alternative medicine. A rapid learning curve ensued with certifications in acupuncture, Chinese and western Herbal medicine, chiropractic, and homeopathy. Since 1993, she has a 100 % alternative mixed animal practice in western NY State. She is a RH (AHG) and has completed advanced herbal training through CIVT, IVAS, and Chi Institute. Attempting to continually learn, she is an avid follower of many including Jeffrey Yuen, Matt Wood and David Winston.
